The most challenging dilemma most homeowners face is to try and figure out what their decorating style is. The solution? Make a cup of tea, grab some decorating magazines and start pulling out pages of rooms that appeal to you. Look at the entire photo- is it the lamp that you like? the positioning of the furniture? the window treatments? Be sure to keep pulling out things that grab your attention. Don't forget ideas for flooring, appliances etc- try and cover all aspects of your room(s).
Once you feel you have a good representation then spread all your photos out on a table and you will begin to see your room come to life! If you want to take it a step further, glue all your photos in a file folder and add your color selections. Now your plan of action is ready to be executed
